Marking period #1

September 20th, 2008
Bonjour French Foundations 7. Welcome to our weblog. We’ll be “talking” here frequently in English and in French (of course). We’re going to be answering Essential Questions each marking period – and there is a deadline for completing your comments. A few ground rules before you start adding comments:

1. You must always enter your last name followed by your French first name:

ex. Smith Pierre (Smith is the last name, Pierre is your class name) If you don’t do this, your comment will not be accepted, and you’ll receive no points.

2. You will need a working email address (either yours or your parents’) – this is a private blog site, so no one will know it except you and me

3. Enter your reply / comment in the box at the bottom.

Okay, let’s get started. You have two questions to answer.

Due date was Friday, October 3 – late entries have a 10-point deduction.

1. Why did you decide to take this high school credit class?

2. What do you plan to do to achieve the grades you want?
